Paragraph.

 

I used to draw a lot as a kid and spent many hours trying to make a picture perfect,I thought I was pretty good until I went to senior school and a certain teacher said I wouldnt cut the mustard at art-college.I persrvered and did a gcse in creative textiles,while one of my friends made a gorgeous boned and laced bridesmaids dress with handmade roses on it I was tinkering away at making a playmat for a baby!I passed but was still dis-heartened so I didnt even apply for art college!
Well now fifteen odd years later I have got myself a new sewing machine1Its a husqvarna,it is lovely!
It does all the usual you expect from a sewing machine and it also has some nice embroidery stitches like little cars and flowers and also does letters and numbers!
Not having any experience in sewing for a long time I have found it quite hard getting the hang of it again but it all comes back!
I have made some nice net curtains with sequins all over them for the girls bedroom and for mine!
A few little things for the baby,dresses for bambi and a new carrier for her!
I am going to try and make myself some dresses this week so will see how that goes!
